Job description

· Develop tracking/documentation system for each piece of product in process from stripping to final storage. System will be on Public Drive and will have daily updates on each piece’s color code status. Using this system, coordinate with Processing Supervisor in order to provide Work In Progress (WIP) information to team at 10:00 AM Monday meetings.

· Ensure daily inspection of pieces being stripped as well as pieces in processing area in order to update tracking/documentation system.

· Ensure that Color Code System is being followed. Apply Green Dots to each piece, verifying that all processing/detailing/variances have been completed before pieces are placed in final storage. This is main focus, do not allow unfinished product to be placed in final storage.

· Review all Variance Reports daily. Ensure that pieces with variance reports have Yellow Dots and are quarantined in hospital or processing areas and not placed in storage.

· Ensure that Variance Report process is followed. Track Variance Reports via the Non-conformance Log on the Public Drive in the Quality Control Folder. Review Quality Control Department’s email daily for answers to variance reports. Follow-up on answers to variance reports if not received.

· Communicate with Processing Supervisor on a daily basis about variances, piece status, WIP, product movement, etc.

· Identify any issues with product during processing (acid etching, sand blasting, washing of retarder, etc.) such as color variation, “crop circles”, aggregate density, etc. Relay these issues to QC Manager, Processing Supervisor, and Project Manager. Issue Variance Report.

· Check with QC Manager before leaving to ensure all required work is complete.

· Help train personnel.

· Obtain any necessary training or certifications from industry related organizations such as ACI, PCI, or DOTs.

· Maintain clean work area and equipment.

· Follow all Safety Guidelines.
