Overview:

As a construction Quality Control Specialist your job is to inspect a project before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with all safety and quality specifications. To accomplish this, you will implement and utilize a job site checklist and confirm all guidelines provided by the National Production Manager are met on every job site. You will be responsible for tracking and recording each project within the CRM platform. In addition, you will be directly supervising most construction projects, documenting the job progress, and submitting site photos at each stage of production. You also will conduct audits on job sites and related paperwork ensuring all meet with the standards set forth by Roofing and Reconstruction Contractors of America (RRCA). You will assist production managers with evaluating and tracking compliance with RRCA’s safety plans, and verify all subcontractor crew rosters are current. You will also be responsible to perform other tasks to ensure an injury-free workplace.

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Minimum of two years roofing/construction experience
  • Basic knowledge of shingle, tile, metal, and flat roofing construction
  • Current OSHA certification or completion of the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety course within sixty days of employment
  • Ability to speak clearly and exercise good judgment
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work at remote locations
  • Spanish and English Bilingual prefered
  • Ability to use and navigate the internet, email, and RRCA’s CRM platforms
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, maintain a clean driving record, submit to periodic DMV background checks

Daily duties will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications, plan requirements, and/or need for permit inspections.
  • Monitor overall construction performance with regards to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements
  • Note and report on project work that does not meet requirements and company standards.
  • Educate and train crews on the required quality and safety standards
  • Work with production managers to identify methods to improve overall quality and safety procedures
  • Ensure all safety measures are being met and all daily crew rosters are current
  • Complete the OSHA Jobsite Checklist for each job
  • Maintain company vehicle(s) and submit photos of assigned vehicle every 90 days
  • Complete Site Checklist for each job and uploading to the CRM platforms
  • Obtain Customer Completion Form upon job completion
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and work to obtain a 5-star review from the homeowner

Pay: $750.00 - $1,000.00 per week
