What we are looking for
NextCare Urgent Care is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist who is a team player to provide laboratory knowledge and expertise to our clinic laboratories.
Location
Join our team in Tempe, Arizona. This position can be Remote-Work at Home for a qualified candidate. First preference is for candidates who live in one the 12 states where we have clinic locations.
Responsibilities
The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for supporting the Laboratory Services team and NextCare’s clinic laboratories and ensuring that laboratories are operating safely, efficiently and within all applicable state, federal and accrediting requirements.
Primary tasks include:
- Reviewing urgent care clinic lab documentation
- Training and mentoring of clinic staff
- Providing guidance to clinic staff
How you will make an impact
The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the organization with laboratory compliance.
Essential Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree in lab-related field
Experience: Minimum of one year experience related in a clinical lab setting or equivalent
Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office
Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:
Education: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Experience: Staff Training, Quality Assurance, Laboratory Training
