Job Description
This role is responsible for managing the Quality Assurance team's document compliance. They will be the primary person responsible for fulfilling requests for quality related documents to both internal and external customers, managing customer websites, and intermittently completing customer questionnaires and surveys. They will also be responsible for ensuring supplier documents are current and compliant by requesting and uploading them, and occasionally analyzing them for technical, food safety, quality, or regulatory content.

  • Manage the “Quality Documents” inbox to answer quality related emails and/or forward them to the appropriate person
  • Answer document requests, including customer surveys and questionnaires
  • Responsible for ensuring supplier documentation is current and adequate
  • Review and upload supplier documentation into Policy Tech and/or TraceGains
  • Oversee customer websites and portals, including TraceGains
  • Analyze technical data for trends and act to resolve any identified issues, reporting results to the Quality Assurance group
  • Evaluate supplier data for compliance and report findings to the Compliance Manager
  • Work on projects as needed by management

Qualifications
Education: Minimum: College Degree or equivalent work experience
Related Experience: Minimum 3 years, preferably in quality assurance, food safety, or related field
Equipment/Software Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications: Word, Excel. Basic knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, voicemail phone systems, fax, printers, etc. Experience in TraceGains is an advantage.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Knowledge of HACCP, Food Safety, Quality Systems, and food regulations preferred.
Additional Information
Physical: **Typing and manual dexterity required. Movement back and forth between printers and other office equipment. Lifting of up to 25 lbs. Long periods of sitting, reading, and/or typing are common.
Sensory: Heavy telephone and email volume. Must have excellent diction to respond to calls and excellent hearing in order to understand and respond to issues or requests.
Mental/Reasoning: Able to reason logically and make sound decisions. Must work efficiently under little supervision. Interacts with others (both internally and externally) effectively and appropriately. Demonstrates persistence when performing repetitive tasks. Dependable.
