Our agency is seeking a compassionate Full-Time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)

As our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) you will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services for our clients. You will work in coordination with Alluma's outpatient counseling services to provide psychiatric services to adult clients with behavioral health issues. The administrative supervision for this position will be by our Medical Director, with assistance from our Nursing Supervisor.

• This position would be based out of both our Crookston and East grand Forks locations.
• 0.8 - 1.0 FTE, full-time status; Monday-Friday between the hours of 8am-5pm
• 10-14 Adult patients per day (no inpatient responsibilities)
• New graduates will be considered.

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified/licensed by the Minnesota Board of Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner with prescribing privileges.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota.
• Holds both a current DEA and National Provider Identifier.
• Buprenorphine waivered practitioner or willing to obtain
• Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire
• Must pass criminal background check through MH DHS NetStudy.
• Access to personal vehicle and the ability and willingness to use the vehicle in carrying out positions responsibilities.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable under the agency’s automobile insurance policy.
• Free from substance use problems for a period of no less than 2 years.

Preferred Requirements:

• Five years or more experience in psychiatric nursing at the CNP level.
• Five years demonstrated treatment skills in psychiatric nursing, including medication management and prescription.
• Experience working in a community-based behavioral/chemical health care setting.
• Bilingual in one of the language pertinent to the Alluma service area (Spanish, Somali, Vietnamese, Russian, Ojibway, American Sign Language.)
