Psychiatric APNs are a critical component of the multi-disciplinary team that is being cultivated for Bridgeway's NEWLY OPENED urgent mental health care center in the City of Elizabeth, Union County, NJ. Crisis Intervention Services - Union County (BCIS) will provide services in our third LIVING ROOM MODEL care center. WORK WITH US in a unique and innovative mental health setting!
Salary Range: $150,000
Bridgeway is offering a $5,000 incremental sign-on bonus -
Currently seeking two full time APNs for the BCIS-Union County team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the BCIS Director, Psychiatric APNs are supervised for medical practice by the collaborating psychiatrist, Bridgeway's Medical Director.
Psychiatric APNs provide direct psychiatric assessment, differential diagnosis, medications and direct services to individuals served by the program. Psychiatric APNs support and trains other team members in the medical aspects of psychiatric treatment, and may supervise interns.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Genuine affinity for providing care to vulnerable populations
REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
Master’s degree in nursing
Current license as a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse
CAC, CADC preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
One-year paid post degree/certification work experience preferred
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid driver’s license required
No more than one moving violation within the past 12 months
