Job Title: Property Manager

Reports to: District Manager

Direct Reports: None

Department: Operations

FSLA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Status: Full-time

Location: this position will be servicing the following locations: La Crescenta and La Crescenta Plaza, CA - Here we GROW again!

Work Schedule: 9:00-6:00PM – subject to change; must be able to work on weekends

Pay Range: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Travel: Occasional 0-10% of the Time

The open position is a full-time position working with an opportunity for advancement with one of the leading providers of self-storage in the United States. This position contributes to facility profitability by developing and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships and being committed to customer satisfaction. This Manager pays close attention to detail and has general sales, marketing and computer skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop customer relationships by identifying their storage needs and providing outstanding customer service
  • Guide new customers through rental processes and agreements
  • Shows, rents, manages delinquencies including auction procedures
  • Maintaining moving supplies and packing materials
  • Handle cash and balance receipts, pursue collections, post payments and process daily bank deposits with integrity
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports as required by management
  • Perform independently with a focus on teamwork as you partner with others
  • Maintain cleanliness of facility and vacancies
  • Perform lock checks at least twice each day
  • Other functional duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications

  • Customer service, retail sales, marketing experience
  • Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
  • General office, computer, and telephone skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Able to lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Effective Communication skills both verbally and written
