Position Summary:

Working within the NCI Project Management Department and reporting to the Director, Project Management, the Project Scheduler is responsible for gathering, validating, and integrating project data into and maintaining Microsoft Project Schedules. The Project Scheduler will work on multiple projects at any time.

Essential Functions:

• Works with the NCI project managers and Master Scheduler and other stakeholders to develop project schedules
• Works with NCI stakeholders including Project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Operations to gather, validate and integrate data into and maintain PWA Schedules.
• Works with the project managers to obtain PWA Schedule reports.

Experience and Education:

• 3+ years’ experience in Project Scheduling in a construction, fabrication, or manufacturing environment essential.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in working and collaborating with various stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted.

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise:

• Advanced knowledge of Scheduling
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/ MS Project / MS Project Online
• Able to perform configuration, maintenance, and administration of Project Web App (PWA)
• Must possess data management and problem-solving expertise.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
• Must be able to work within minimal supervision.
• Should be able to work well in a team establishing and maintaining positive interdepartmental and intra-departments working relationships.
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Professional and positive attitude
• Detail orientated.

Work, Environmental and Physical Demands:

• In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls
• Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates.
• Job will generally be performed in an office environment,
• A valid driver’s license for any business travel,

Environmental Safety Requirements

• New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness
• All safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Director
• Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee’s Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis.

Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed. PPEs include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks. Failure to comply with Nikkiso Cryo safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination.
