We are currently sourcing a Project Manager to work at Fidelity in Durham, NC or Boston, MA to join our Emerging Technology team maintain the consulting and production backlog, help to remove impediments, and facilitate agile events such as the production support daily stand up. You will have responsibility for release management coordination and participate in scaling events and activities as you facilitate interdependencies across teams and product areas.

We are looking for an organized and creative Project Manager with an interest in being a part of the emerging Metaverse to create and support the next generation of immersive experiences for Fidelity and our Customers. You’ll lead a team to support compelling 3D experiences and assets using state-of-the-art 3D tools.

The Team

Within FCAT, as part of our Emerging Technology Incubator team, you will join the mission to:
Monitor the long-term strategic outlook through outside-in research and ecosystem engagement

Build and Test new capabilities and products

Educate and Consult with associates and clients

The Purpose of your role

As a member of the FCAT Emerging Technology Incubator, you will work with the team to build, test, deploy, and support proof of concept experiments by

• Demonstrating how immersive can be used to solve a wide variety of business use cases and providing business support for a broad array of immersive applications
• Collaborating with business and technical teams to create timelines and roadmaps, identify dependencies, coordinate activity
• Resolving roadblocks with the team and mitigating potential risks
• Delivering metrics and reporting around various areas including, but not limited to, application performance & monitoring, incident, and problem management, etc.
• Coordinating and encouraging the adoption of new tools and processes within the team
• Helping other teams access and explore metaverse experiences to execute on business unit consulting requests
• Writing knowledge articles to create the support infrastructure for the immersive capabilities
• Providing onsite event support to show how to use the immersive experiences and gather feedback
• Supporting user onboarding and device management for metaverse experiences
• Exploring new metaverse hardware and software technologies for use by the firm
• Enthusiasm for working in an international, collaborative, and fast-paced environment and learning new technologies

You will also share your learnings throughout the company through written summaries, videos, demos, and live presentations.

• Product business analysis, design, and requirements including product features definition with value and acceptance criteria
• Iterative Product development, rollout, and ongoing support
• Ability to understand and adapt to changing business priorities and technology advancements
• Strong focus on execution and ability to identify, communicate, and remove impediments to progress
• Effective facilitator who brainstorms with the team to generate solutions that address challenges and roadblocks
• Lead alignment discussions with leaders, technical partners and capability owners to ensure common understanding and next steps are understood across teams
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Scrum Master (CSM), Scrum.org Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Scrum.inc Registered Scrum Master (RSM) certification.
