Project Manager - Glazing Fenestration Division 8

American Products, Inc., a leading supplier of glazing systems and architectural metals, including custom-engineered curtain wall, storefront, doors, canopies, sunshades, roof screens, and more, is seeking a highly motivated Manager to join our team in Tampa, Florida.

Project Manager - Division 8 / Division 5 Responsibilities:

• Manage very fast track projects from beginning to end, from estimating to ship
• Work with customers during all phases of project
• Review shop drawings, architectural drawings, material take-off, estimate and other documents
• Provide coordination, correspondence and assistance to our customers and internal personnel while maintaining customer relations and confidence
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all project related documents
• Review customer shop drawings for obvious structural and application problems
• Ability to quote various types of projects.

Qualifications for Project Manager - Division 8 / Division 5:

• Must be able to effectively work material suppliers, customers and various internal departments to obtain maximum cooperation ensure project success
• Ability to read and understand shop drawings, architectural drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of storefront, glazing, fenestration, doors, and other division 8 and division 5 standard products and their applications
• Ability to handle numerous projects and prioritize workload
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing-Self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to solve problems in a fair, firm and friendly manner
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications absolutely required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
