Stevens Construction is looking for a Project Engineer to join our Milwaukee Operation!
Stevens Construction Corp. is a full-service general contractor with self-performed trades of concrete and carpentry, serving the Midwestern Region with offices in Madison, Milwaukee, and Bloomington, MN. We specialize in the new construction of various commercial, multi-family, senior living, and mixed-use buildings.
The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with multiple project duties including submittals, RFI's, drawings, project documentation, client communication, production and cost tracking. Soliciting and qualifying subcontractor bids and projects scopes, writing subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and proposals for approval. Develop and manage the punch lists with Project Team. Coordinate with Superintendent to ensure the jobsite needs are being met.
Requirements:
- Bachelors' Degree in Construction Management, Civil or Construction Engineering, or related degree.
- Ability to read and understand construction specific project documents.
- Experience with project scheduling software.
- Knowledge of construction safety.
