Become a part of our international Operations team at our location The Woodlands (Houston), USA. For the next possible date we are looking for you in Full Time (40h/week) as Project Coordinator.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Management of suppliers, sub-contractors and thirdparty cargo handler
  • Work constructively in a team-oriented environment to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Ensure timely and accurate project reports are being issued
  • Responsible for file management and quotations
  • Conduct freight rate negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices and agents, for all modes of transportation, to insure price competitiveness and profitability
  • Become fluent with deugro in-house operating systems,Accounting Systems, Tracking Systems, CargoSoft, Exact
  • Responsible for invoicing and for resolutions of claims and disputes in a timely manner
  • Establish and ensure that the goals and policies of the company are met
  • Take responsibility for Receivables, Payables, Profit Sharing, Forecasting, etc., for accounts under your management oversight


Your contribution:

  • Adhere to all company policies in areas of Compliance, QHSES, Code of Business Conduct, Employee Handbook, etc.
  • Knowledge in all major freight forwarding disciplines, e.g., air, sea, surface transport
  • Understanding of company strategy and products,
  • Understanding of company rules and guidelines
  • Strong business administration competency
  • Ability to understand clients’ project logistical challenges and structure effective solutions
  • Strong organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign, control) and attention to detail are essential
  • Team player
  • Customer focused and performance
