$50-60K plus bonus

Our Omaha, NE manufacturing client is looking to hire a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator is responsible for managing the organization of key client projects delivering every project on time within budget and scope. The Project Coordinator will act in support of the assigned markets and respective sub-segments for the Sales and Marketing Organization (SMO). The Project Coordinator will display key relationship management skills and a strong technical background to understand the complexities of a technical business environment. The Project Coordinator should have a background in sales, business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis.

Key Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Supports all corporate objectives and policies.
  • Highly accountable for the coordination and completion of all assigned projects on time and within profitability expectations.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects developing a detailed project plan setting deadlines, monitoring, and summarizing the progress of the project.
  • Activation and review of preliminary and final documentation for projects.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Creates quotes per customer request.
  • Measure short and long term project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Prepare reports for upper management regarding the status of the project(s).
  • Work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget.
  • Communicate customer concerns/issues internally and coordinate a bilateral amicable resolution.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • On-site project meetings when necessary.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors where necessary.
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Enhance the reputation of SMO by accomplishing or exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook), MS Project is a plus.
  • Good communication skills to interact with team members.
  • Good critical thinking skills to resolve questions and problems related to orders.
  • A high degree of diligence to ensure the correct information on orders.
  • Strong organizational skills a must
  • Ability to work at a steady pace even with interruptions, and some time pressure.
  • Knowledge of SAP a plus.
