• Serve as main point of contact to the customer for assigned projects including direct interface with end customer
• Analyze project risks including profitability, timing, technical, and environmental, and also define proposed solutions and suggested course of action to leadership team
• Getting results through influencing others that don’t report directly to you
• Break down complex tasks and organize them in a way to make them achievable
• Work with and escalate issues to Senior Management
• Prepare and conduct price negotiations in cooperation with sales and expected to lead all quotation activity for customer Engineering changes for assigned projects including direct interface with end customer
• Use knowledge of all aspects of the business to successfully manage programs
• Define project organization and lead multi-disciplinary project team with more complex projects with larger quantity of end items delivered directly to customers vs internal project scope
• Lead a team through difficult situations. Use technical knowledgeable of products to successfully manage programs
• Support customer projects from technical and commercial perspective from initial phase until delivery to budget and deadlines including direct interface with end customer and leading both internal and external customer Product Development weekly meetings
• Assist with the development of colleagues to build an effective team

Education

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Management or closely related field

Experience

• Two years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer, Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Process Improvement Engineer, Project Manager, or closely related occupation in the automotive industry
• Two years’ experience with light and heavy-duty Oil & Fuel filtration; Air Oil Separator filtration (Compressors, and heavy duty off highway agricultural equipment); heavy duty air filtration for on-highway and off-highway vehicles; Project development process; Lean Six Sigma; Supply Chain Management; SAP; using CIM Database; using cProjects; AutoCAD; using WIX Engineering data base; Project development process xSEP 7.1; using Value Stream Mapping VSM Software; using Minitab; and using A3 Reporting root cause analysis tool

Required:

• Approximately 25% travel is required to various unanticipated locations
