Culmen International is hiring a Program Management Assistant to provide support for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in New York City.
This position supports our future efforts with the United Nations in New York City. We are looking for individuals that would be interested in on-call temporary work options to support our various staffing needs for the United Nations.

Under the general guidance of the Head of Unit or Project Manager, the Program Management Assistant will support the planning, management, and administration of the Project or the Unit’s Annual Work Plan. Where required, the Program Development and Implementation Assistant may need subject matter expertise regarding UNDP’s programmatic offer – economy, environment, society, and livelihoods of the poorest.
Roles and responsibilities included but not limited to:
  • Organize and maintain files related to project activities or substantive inputs of the Unit.
  • Draft notices and reports
  • Organize meetings, making meeting arrangements, organizing meetings and related material, drafting minutes of meetings and other reports.
  • Provide technical services to carry out agenda setting, development of discussion or policy papers, technical research, preparation of executive summaries, and review of final reports.
  • Track day-to-day activities of the Unit or Project, maintain online presence, as required, and provide support to the preparation of annual or quarterly reports.
  • Use UNDP information systems to enter data and generate documentation as required.
  • Review and revise documentation and provide recommendations on issues, required approvals, and modifications.
Basic Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of progressively responsible operational or program experience
  • Experience in handling web-based management systems, digital signature, and video conferencing
  • Knowledge of software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, International Relations, Social Sciences, or a related field
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with PowerBi, Stream, and CRM software
  • Working knowledge of UN language other than English
