Job description
Research and implement best practices for academic support strategies for Kindergarten through sixth grade students. Provide training to tutoring staff that is appropriate for grade levels and for meeting individual student needs. Collaborate with school day staff to build targeted grade-level plans and curriculums. Create procedural documents for each grade-level for students, staff and volunteers beginning tutoring. Create communication plans for keeping all stakeholders (students, classroom teachers, and families) updates and involved in student progress and success. Monitor student progress, evaluate efficacy of interventions and make changes as needed to promote student academic success. Report on student and volunteer outcomes to grantors and the greater community. Plan and lead workshops, homework help and/or tutoring on occasion. Substitute for tutors as needed. Track the collection and recording of program fees.
