Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for a Professional Land Surveyor to support our growing organization. This position is based in our Logan, Utah Cache Valley office.

Your Impact

The PLS provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial drive to work with our team in Northern Utah. Sunrise uses the latest technology including Trimble GPS & Robots, AutoCad Civil3D, DJI UAVs, and Leica Scanning platforms.

• Working closely with office staff to finish jobs.
• Maintain and manage existing client relationships.
• Mentor/develop staff.
• Prepare proposals for new opportunities.
• Track/review key performance indicators for the department.
• Oversight on a variety of projects.

Who You Are:

Required Qualifications

• PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) license for state of Utah
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and talk or hear.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Employee may be asked to walk on uneven surfaces, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, hike up and down steep slopes carrying up to 50 pounds of survey equipment, bend, squat, dig monument holes, pound in stakes and rebar monuments.
• Climb stairs, sit for extended periods of time, work at a computer terminal for extended periods of time, type/key-in data, and answer telephones frequently as needed.
• The employee will be required to adhere to the company’s policies, safety plan and the project safety plan.
