Summary:

The production worker is accountable for the effective and safe operation of injection molding machines by adhering to the 5S system.
The Production Team is responsible for inspecting parts produced for visual quality. You will play an important part in ensuring all parts are prepared for the post cure process.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up machines at the beginning of shift to ensure proper working order.
  • Perform testing procedures to ensure that machines work optimally during the production procedures.
  • Maintain and clean machines before and after each shift.
  • Monitor machines during every procedure to ensure optimum running.
  • Troubleshoot problems during machine operation.
  • Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out.
  • Perform random tests to ensure accuracy.
  • Create and maintain activity logs.
  • Provide relevant information regarding progress to supervisors.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED equivalent.
  • Specialized training or certification a plus.
  • Must be proficient in English for safe and efficient performance of job.
  • Required to wear PPE such as: Steel toed shoes, face mask, face shield, gloves, etc.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
