Job Title - Production Technician II
Location -Waukegan Road, North Chicago, Illinois -60064

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri

Work Hours- 6:45am-3:00pm - 1st Shift

Work Hours – 02:45 – 11:00pm – 2nd shift
Work Hours- 10:45pm-7:00am - 3rd Shift

Description :

Describes the primary goals, objective or function, or outputs of this position.
Effectively set up and monitored assigned production lines for performance and to maintain above-target OEE. Identify and resolve performance-related setup issues in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to GMP guidelines and procedures.

Responsibilities :

• Effectively set up and maintain above-target OEE performance on primary value stream production lines.
• Responds to production line calls to resolve performance-related setup issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Sustain 5S of parts and tooling across the value stream you work in.
• Maintain change parts and tooling in base condition.
• Initiates work orders in the CMMS (Maximo) for repairs/improvements to be planned and scheduled.
• Escalates higher-level issues in a timely manner to the appropriate groups.
• Communicates improvement opportunities through cross-functional groups and the setup team.
• Performs vision system tasks at the mechanic level.
• Troubleshoots minor equipment-related issues and performs repairs.

Qualifications :

• 3-7 years of experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical skills and experience with basic hand tools
• Entry-level position needing close supervision - Previous departmental experience is not required but preferred.
• Extensive training is required when starting in this role, must be able to learn new processes, equipment and

Salary: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
