At Hungry Harvest we’re bringing plant power to the people by rescuing farm fresh fruits and vegetables that would otherwise go to waste and affordably and conveniently bringing them right to our customers’ doors. Every Harvest we deliver saves at least 10 pounds of food from going to waste, helps close food access gaps, and works to reduce our overall environmental impact. Cutting food waste in half globally could reduce our ecological footprint by 16% and ensure a more sustainable future. We’re working every day to make that a reality. The Opportunity
The Production Associate will assist on our assembly line, where we pack fresh fruits and vegetables into variety boxes. The sorting, grading and packing of produce does require a lot of handwork and some lifting.
We believe anyone who wants to work hard, is detail oriented, and is passionate about ending hunger and food waste would excel in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently sort and pack product following established packing procedures.
- Meet customer required quality standards for finished product.
- Adhere to all work safety and food safety policies, standards and procedures.
Requirements & Criteria:
- Must be able to work comfortably in a cool environment
- Must be able to work while standing.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs repetitively.
- Must be able to work collaboratively.
- Must be reliable and have acceptable attendance.
- Previous packing or manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required.

Schedule:
Tuesday- Saturday (
5 days total per week; some weekends)
40 hours per week, occasional overtime is available
Hourly pay rate is $15.00 per hour.
