JOB TITLE: Process Documentation Specialist (REMOTE) – Full Time and Part Time positions available, Exempt

Reports to: Operations Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

This individual is responsible for providing support to Process Owners by (1) creating and managing process documentation, (2) and the information to our customers and claimants, and (3) ensuring all the processes leverage a consistent set of standards that meet customer expectations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Answer customer questions pertaining to our services, via phone, text, email and online chat within established company standards, guidelines and scripts
  • Ensure all records are controlled in a manner which ensures integrity and accessibility including scanning and uploading of documents
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle customer issues, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process necessary actions and file documents
  • Interact directly with users of controlled documentation to ensure internal conformance to Company Quality Control requirements
  • Review format and conformance necessities to documents; including but not limited to signature, dating and Good Documentation Practice
  • Provide administrative support related to documentation processes and systems
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of database entries and implement a self-auditing system to verify one’s own work
  • Create and maintain document templates
  • Work with a variety of internal teams to ensure training materials have been received

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Have an Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience in insurance
  • Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience
  • Must have at least 1 year of proven experience working in process documentation
  • Preferred but not required:
  • SalesForce experience
  • Insurance claim experience

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
