Process Development Technician

JOB PURPOSE:

Operator of pharmaceutical equipment for the manufacture of R&D and commercial products. Reports to a Formulation Scientist or Operations Supervisor.

JOB DUTIES:

• Set up and operation of standard pharmaceutical process equipment including tablet presses, tablet coaters, granulators, encapsulators, fluid bed coaters, and commercial wurster coating operation;
• Execution of Master Batch Records, standard operating procedures, and validation protocols;
• Complete equipment logs and lab notebooks;
• Carry out formulation development studies;
• Cleans and assembles manufacturing equipment per approved procedures;
• Weighs out material and components for production batches;
• Work in both non-GMP and GMP environments and ensure regulatory compliance;
• Interface and consult with Analytical R&D and Quality Assurance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in solid oral operations or development groups
• High school degree or equivalent
• High Energy / Multi Task

Located in northern New Jersey.
