InSite Property Group is looking for a Pricing Analyst, who will be responsible for implementing and analyzing pricing strategies that maximize revenue for our growing portfolio.

Objective:

The Pricing Analyst position provides an opportunity to directly impact business revenue by analyzing pricing strategies. The successful candidate will be eager to help drive business forward by delivering good practice and providing guidance across all opportunity platforms.

Responsibilities:

• The primary duty is assessing data from a variety of sources and using it to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends
• Assist in producing accurate revenue forecasts to determine market share, customer trends
• Analyze revenue performance, market share, capacity, and competitor activity for markets, and create market strategies that support delivery of revenue targets
• Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of current and past rates to guide pricing decisions
• Work with operations and marketing personnel to develop and enact competitive pricing strategies
• Develop pricing tools that allows for quick responses to changing market needs and trends
• Keep reporting updated to provide visibility to internal stakeholders to support the company’s business strategies on a daily/weekly/monthly/as-requested basis
• Stay apprised of key events and other consumer demand drivers in assigned markets
• Prepare and participate in weekly strategy meetings

Other Functions:

• Must be able to work extended hours and weekends as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• 1 - 2 years of work experience in a pricing role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong analytical skills, must be highly organized to keep track of internal information across various departments, teams, and stakeholders
• Ability to generate ad-hoc data from various databases
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret pricing estimates and financial reports
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to team members, team leaders, and top management
• Strong problem-solving skills with analytical approach
• Effective time management skills & prioritization to meet daily/weekly/monthly deadlines
• Detail-oriented with high sense of integrity to maintain confidentiality of information
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
