Responsibilities

  • The Used Vehicle Manager is responsible for the appraisal, purchase, reconditioning, display and merchandising of the used vehicle inventory
  • Must utilize and work Digital Retailing tools to make buying easy for customers.
  • Provide training and support to the sales staff and assist in closing sales
  • Ensure sales goals are attained
  • Meet and greet all customers early in sales process and stay actively involved throughout process
  • Determine vehicle purchase terms, and trade values to customers
  • Secure financing for customers by utilizing professional relationships with lenders
  • Desk deals, track revenue logs, and manage retail delivery reports
  • Help manage all aspects of the sales department and inventory lot
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Automotive dealership management experience a must
  • Shown success in auto retail sales
  • Confirmed leadership ability to mentor and train others
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Passionate about training sales team members and operating within a reciprocal environment
  • Enthusiastic personality with high-energy attitude
  • Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability
  • Organization and follow-up skills
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
