The Raritan Bay Area YMCA is currently accepting applications/resumes for a certified Preschool Teacher for our Y's Learning Center.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic urban, growing organization just 5 miles west of New York City in the water front city of Perth Amboy. The Raritan Bay Area YMCA has served the ever-evolving needs of our community since 1912. DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID-19 PANDEMIC, TEACHERS MAY BE REQUIRED TO DELIVER THE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES DESCRIBED ABOVE IN A REMOTE FORMAT. THIS WILL BE DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NEW JERSEY DOH , THE CDC, STATE LAW, AND DISTRICT GUIDELINES. Requirements:
- Previous experience teaching Pre-K children ages 3 to 5 years old, preferably in a daycare setting, is a MUST.
- The Teacher shall have a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and State of NJ Teaching Certification (preschool through grade three).
- We will only respond to candidates with a State of NJ Teaching Certification (P-3); CE or a CEAS in P-3.
Hours:
8:15am to 3:05pm - Monday thru Friday
