Position Summary:


Responsible for managing policies, procedures, and forms throughout the organization.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Working knowledge of state and federal legislative and regulatory processes. Knowledge of theories, principles, and methods utilized in the development healthcare policies, procedures, and forms required. Knowledge of external regulatory Conditions of Participation and Hospital Standards required. Knowledge of general statutes. Knowledge of survey, accreditation and regulatory processes required. Must also be independent, efficient and have exceptional interpersonal skills, as interaction with patients, families, and medical staff is necessary. Must have knowledge of clinical and legal research and ability to cite websites and scholarly, peer reviewed articles appropriately.

Required Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
    in a health care profession required (i.e. healthcare administration, nursing).

Preferred Education, Licenses, and Certifications:
  • Master's Degree
    in a health care profession required (i.e. healthcare administration, nursing).
  • CERTIFIED PROFESSIONAL HEALTHCARE QUALITY
    or other related quality certification preferred.
Other Information:

Must be able to move throughout the Health System without difficulty, stand and sit for long periods of time.
