Our growing company is seeking a Plant Controller to be responsible for all financial processes for our US manufacturing operations. The Controller and team will also be responsible for all cost accounting, inventory, bills of materials, auditing, and financial reporting. Specific duties include:

  • Develop and maintain all financial controls, including but not limited to cost accounting, inventory, bill of materials, auditing functions, and reporting processes.
  • Manage and oversee all financial functions and all U.S. based financial staff.
  • Responsible for delivery of monthly forecasts, moth-end close, and in-depth analysis of data.
  • Accountability for day-to-day inventory management, as well as periodic inventory counts.
  • Report out on all ROI (Return on Investment) for all major accounts.
  • Perform in-depth analysis into problem areas as well as areas of opportunity.
  • Ensure timely and concise transfer of information to all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure maximum cost savings and identify and monitor process improvements.
  • Responsible for monthly and annual budgets.
  • Identify key accounting issues and propose action/resolution.
  • Implement a process of performance metrics in all areas of business.
  • Verify business case for all major capital expenditures, ensure control of expenditures for projects, and monitor ROI.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with all local law and practice.
  • Other duties as assigned.

To qualify for this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA and/or CPA a plus.
  • 7-9 years of progressive experience in accounting/financial role preferred. Experience with cost accounting/manufacturing environment required.
  • 2-3 years experience as Controller with at least $150M in company revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to transform processes and develop effective financial controls.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proven track record of achievement of financial performance improvements and results.
  • Experience working with a global environment dealing with different cultures a plus.
  • Ability to build and develop a strong team.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
