POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: This position coordinates efforts of all physician service representatives to deliver exemplary service in the scheduling, approval and registration for out-patient tests and procedures. The staff of the SNAP Care office is responsible for serving as customer service liaisons between Dameron Hospital and physicians and patients. Candidates must demonstrate a superior commitment to customer service, critical thinking, and the ability to coordinate activities between numerous extended team members. Primary duties include addressing all community physician office needs related to referrals and scheduled cases, coordinating various access activities across Dameron’s physician-facing departments, and proactively coordinating appointment scheduling for patients.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent GED. Bachelor degree preferred.

Experience:

Strong communication skills, including superior telephone etiquette and proficiency with email

Ability to prioritize and perform work efficiently without constant supervision and direction

A minimum of two years of experience working directly with physician offices and their patients

Experience in customer service, collections and medical terminology preferred

Proficient with Dameron’s computers, telephones, fax machines, and related applications and systems

Bi-lingual language capability preferred
