PioneerRx Pharmacy Software is seeking candidates for the position of PioneerRx University (PRxU) Pharmacy Consultant. The primary responsibility of this position will be the development and management of University programs, including:
PioneerRx Pharmacy Software is seeking candidates for the position of PioneerRx University (PRxU) Pharmacy Consultant. The primary responsibility of this position will be the development and management of University programs, including:
- Working directly with instructors from pharmacy schools and pharmacy technician programs to implement the use of PioneerRx in their programs
- Developing curriculum to be used to train pharmacy students, pharmacy technician students, and pharmacy technicians working in PioneerRx pharmacies
- Becoming a PioneerRx Pharmacy Software expert, providing remote consulting to pharmacy instructors
- Educating pharmacy school and pharmacy technician programs on best practices, market trends, and products and services to enhance their curriculum
- Providing coaching, training, and education to University program users to help ensure greater outcomes for their students
Desired Qualifications
- Pharmacy teaching experience or experience speaking about pharmacy on a state/national level
- Minimum of (4-5) years experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Current nationally recognized Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or NHA)
- Must maintain Pharmacy Technician certification
- Superior communication skills in working with co-workers, instructors, the general public, and business/industry representatives
- Must be a self-starter and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using Windows operating system
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience teaching in a PTCB-recognized or ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Certification Program
- Experience in curriculum or course development
- Previous IT and Networking experience preferred
