Rogers Petroleum INC, a leading fuel distributor in Florida is looking for an experienced dispatcher to join our growing team.

• Dispatches and arranges schedules for drivers and vehicles; assign driver routes, destinations and timelines
• Coordinates with drivers to resolve any issues, problems, or concerns that arise during delivery
• Dispatches drivers in a systematic order to ensure there is no overlapping or backtracking of routes
• Collaborates with stores and advises of drivers’ schedules; addresses any concerns or route changes
• Reviews reports to identify priority for deliveries to ensure that locations have an adequate supply of petroleum products
• Answers and responds to incoming calls related to fuel outages at stores; works with internal partners to resolve issues
• Handles walk-in fuel and lube customers
• Maintains working knowledge of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) and Department of Transportation (DOT) and Company policies, guidelines and procedures
• Provides timely communication of critical events that need to be considered and/or addressed by Management
• Completes departmental reporting as needed
• Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management

Expectations:

· Previous dispatch experience is preferred

· Evening, Weekend, and Holiday work required

· Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written in English

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once

· Basic problem solving and organizational skills

· Ability to interact with others in a team environment

· Excellent customer services skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience in petroleum dispatch preferred

Skill Requirements:

· Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite applications

· Knowledge of fuel tanker operations

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues

· Strong organization and collaborative skills

· Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent customer service

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
