If you have the following interests and qualifications, this could be the right fit for you!

This position will be assigned to support clients throughout East Glen Allen, Ginter Park, and portions of Mechanicsville at the following zip codes (23060, 23227, 23228, 23294, 23230). You will start as a backup and fill in, until you acquire clients to grow your base. Availability for more than one shift will assist you in building your client base. Typically, you will be assigned 4-6 visits a day; however, during holidays and vacation seasons it could be up to 6-8 visits a day. Times vary depending on client schedules and needs. Schedules vary from day to day depending on client requests. MUST be available for weekends and holidays. Holidays worked will include bonuses, and Sunday’s you receive a higher rate. Tips are not guaranteed or required but repeated and exceptional service gets recognized!

This position is for:

1. A self employed person who is all about animals and their well being.

2. Reliable, responsible and experienced in customer service and with dogs and cats. Comfort with all types!

3. Looking for supplemental income. Income is totally dependent on the number of visits requested, scheduled and completed.

4. Comfortable with a changing schedule and varied hours per week.

5. Consistently available time frames (time frames available: 7-11am, 10-3pm, 1-6pm, 5-9pm, Overnights 9pm-7am), or consistently available for a varied schedule.

6. Reliable transportation and a backup in case of car troubles. Driving is required to care for pets in their homes (You might be able to deduct mileage from your income taxes!), and visits cannot be missed.
7. Enjoy variable schedules, ability to earn incentives for bringing on new clients and sitters

8. Live in or adjacent to zip codes 23113,23235,23225 (also 23112, 23114, 23236), or willing to drive to those zip codes.

9. 18 years of age or older

Pay: $12.00 - $22.00 per hour
