Canal Bark

Pet Care Attendant

A glimpse into a typical morning at Canal Bark: You arrive and walk through the kennels to dogs stretching themselves awake. First up is a quick potty break, all the dogs are excited to get out and see what the day holds for them. Then breakfast, everyone's favorite. After the "rounds" are done, you get prepared for morning drop offs and the new clients coming in. Dogs run to you in the lobby because they are so excited to join all their friends. After check in is "gym time" where each dog gets another potty break and then individualized play. "Gym time" could be a puzzle feeder, throwing tennis balls non-stop (for our lab friends: ) or purely snuggles. We let the dogs tell us what they're feeling. And don't forget about our cat residents! They get specialized treatment and enjoy their stay in a room full of windows for plenty of sunshine to bathe in and lots of wildlife to observe. If this sounds like fun, please apply for Pet Care Attendant at Canal Bark!
