Personal Trainer
Job description
The City of Overland Park has Personal Trainer positions available at the Matt Ross Community Center.
Responsibilities : Provides assistance to patrons in the fitness center in some or all of the following methods: administers fitness assessments, conducts fitness consultations, designs exercise programs, conducts equipment orientations, and supervises patrons’ workouts.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology preferred.
- Requires Personal Training certification and CPR certification by a nationally recognized organization.
- One year of experience preferred. No City residency requirement.
Normal Work Schedule: Days and hours vary; as determined by supervisor
Rate of Pay: $24.00-$26.00/hr.
