We are designing our next generation eVTOL, and seeking self-driven, passionate, and experienced individuals to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Process information from sensors to give products perception, and the ability to sense its own state and objects in the surrounding environment.
- Develop state estimation algorithms for products using filtering based and optimization-based methods.
- Leverage perception information to develop navigation algorithms to achieve intelligent autonomous navigation abilities.
- Work with the flight control team and use test driven development, to improve the robustness and reliability of perception and navigation algorithms.
Qualifications:
- Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent.
- 3-years of experience in developing state estimation algorithm and navigation systems.
- Experience in Robotics, Drone and Autonomous Driving is a plus.
- Strong background in signal processing, probabilistic robotics, planning, optimization, and computer vision.
- Understand core robotics perception and navigation knowledge, such as Kalman filtering, nonlinear optimization, search-based navigation, and trajectory generation-based navigation.
- Able to profile the performance of algorithms, and understand how to optimization algorithms for certain memory usage requirements or run time speed requirements
