Job description

Payroll Administrative Assistants are responsible for assisting in the overall function of the Payroll Department.

Essential Functions of the Job

· Greet all visitors that come into the office

· Answer phones and direct the caller to the appropriate person

· Scan, email, or fax documents containing confidential information as requested

· Sort and deliver mail to the appropriate people

· Enter employee information into ADP

· Assist in verification of client bill rates

· Verify administrative mileage

· Assist payroll & billing specialists reconcile timecards

· Scan employee files

· Organize, scan, email and/or mail invoices to clients

· Take deposits to the bank and post office daily

· Maintain and Order supplies

· Work in an office environment on a full-time basis unless otherwise specified by the Executive Team

Requirements

· General knowledge capability to operate of office equipment

· Excellent communication skills, oral and written

· Meet or exceed all essential functions of the job, including but not limited to, work performance goals

Physical Demands

· Ability to remain in a stationary position for the duration of the workday

· Ability to move about the office, bend, and reach

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Work Environment

Generally, works in an office environment but may occasionally be required to perform job duties outside of the typical office setting if specified by the Executive Team.
