Location

Join our corporate team in Tempe, AZ - this position may be Remote from any of the 12 states where NextCare currently operates. (Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Nebraska, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Virginia and Wyoming)


Responsibilities

The Patient Relations Representative is responsible for

  • Responds to patient feedback (questions, complaints, and concerns) in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company policies to achieve a mutually acceptable resolution in a timely manner.
  • Responds to feedback from other sources, such as insurance carriers and the Better Business Bureau.
  • Reports service, policy and quality shortfalls to and works closely with operations management and medical leadership to assist in resolution of patient feedback.
  • Escalates reported shortfalls to next supervisory level if responses are not received in a timely manner or do not adequately address the issue.
  • Tracks patient feedback in designated database.
  • Generates and distributes monthly reporting.
  • Ensures the objectives and goals of the company are achieved by identifying and escalating organizational opportunities for improvement.
  • Handles confidential patient and company information.
  • Supports organizational accountability for a positive patient experience and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Reviews incident reports to determines classification of each and distributes each appropriately to be addressed.
  • Serves as a support resource for NextCare personnel.
  • Provides support to Ancillary Services personnel.
  • Treats patients and co-workers consistent with NextCare Mission Statement, Vision, Values and Performance Standards.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or described in Company policy.

How you will make an impact

The Patient Relations Representative will act as a liaison between NextCare’s patients, clinics, and corporate departments. This position is responsible for facilitating patient satisfaction.


Essential Education, Experience and Skills:

Education: Minimum of Associate’s Degree or equivalent education and experience

Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in a patient representative function or related setting; Strong communication skills


Valued But Not Required Education, Experience and Skills:

Experience: Customer Service; Clinical background, such as Medical Assistant, Radiology Technician
