Required education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required experience:
  • Medical (cosmetic/plastic surgery) and Customer Service: 1 year

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Discuss surgical procedures with consults.
  • Maintain the surgery schedule for the physician
  • Coordinate patient hospital surgery schedules as needed.
  • Coordinate patient financing options and maintain accurate records.

Position summary:

You will be the ambassador of our practices' first impressions of patients. You will help patients while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. You will be professionally answering phone calls in a polite tone, re-directing calls to respective departments, booking consultations, and scheduling appointments.

You must be able to multi-task and handle yourself well under pressure.

Job Description: Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of callers, and forward calls to appropriate personnel.

Patient

· Greet patients warmly & professionally.

· Schedule appointments & manage the schedule to maximize efficiency.

· Manage referrals & and medical records requests.

· Check patients in, accurately record intake forms, driver's license, and insurance information

· Support the Mission, Vision, and core values of the practice

· Basic clerical duties, such as faxing and photocopying

Requirements:

· Ability to build positive relationships with a high level of interpersonal skills.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to prioritize tasks according to importance in a fast-paced environment

· Multi-tasking capability without compromising on quality

· Must be proficient in handling office equipment, including multiple-lined telephones, printers, photocopiers, scanners, etc.

· Dependable, punctual, and able to work in flexible working hours

· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically MS Word and Excel.

  • Perform analytical and data entry task
  • Answer patient calls, emails, and questions, including finding insurance estimates
  • Confidentially manage patient accounts.
  • Schedule patient visits and answer pre-visit questions, including about billing
  • Ensure compliance with professional standards & regulatory requirements
  • Provide patient consultations and recommended treatments
  • Discuss the cost of service, insurance coverage, and payment options with the patient
  • Work as a team player to ensure each patient receives the best service possible
  • Schedule any necessary outpatient appointments
  • Get prior authorizations for procedures
  • Scan documents into patient charts
  • Meet with patients and families regarding treatments, procedures, medications, and continuing care.
  • Assist care team with setting goals for quality assurance and best practices
  • Provide community resources and referrals for continuing care
  • Assist in locating funding for particular procedures or other patient needs

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
