Job description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Must possess basic knowledge of computer skills. Is assigned access to Electronic Health Records software and is directly responsible for entering patient and billing information into the system. Bills in an accurate and timely manner for Medicare and MediCal patients. Performs bill runs and transfers claims for electronic billing. Corrects and returns Medicare and MediCal denials in a timely manner. Performs other duties as needed and as prescribed from time to time by the Business Office Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Personal, energetic, resourceful, reliable, and dependable. Must be able to type, file, have general knowledge of basic accounting. Ability to operate standard office equipment. Ability to operate Microsoft Word and Excel computer programs. A valid driver’s license.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $34.26 per hour
