RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/Equivalency with business curriculum preferred AND (1) year of experience.
  • Must have experience working in Microsoft programs, specifically Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of managed care criteria and insurances.
  • Act 33/34/73 Clearances
  • Pre-Employment Drug Screen

SCHEDULE: (This is a non-exempt, hourly position) Full Time: 37.5-hour work week, DAYLIGHT with flexibility based on the needs of the unit. May need to cover an occasional 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. shift.

ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a Patient Access Representative to help us manage all of the essential non-clinical operations of our South side location, including: communications, data entry, filing, bookkeeping, scheduling, payee reimbursement, Insurance registration and the basic coordination of day-to-day services. We are looking for a professional that has the experience with clerical/administration functions, confidentiality, verifying insurances, multi-tasking and works well within a team-based approach.
