Parts Counter Sales Associate Essential Functions

• Take orders for equipment parts by telephone or in person.
• Assist customers to identify the correct part(s).
• Process the order(s) in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate with customers if delays occur in receiving part(s).
• Exhibit a highly professional customer service attitude.
• Actively work with customers to solve problems and follow through with appropriate solutions.
• Exhibit professional demeanor in dress, speech, and behavior.
• Perform assignments as directed by management.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Follow all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.

Parts Counter Sales Associate Qualifications

• A minimum of one (1) year of parts ordering experience is preferred, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
• Demonstrated computer literacy.
• Basic knowledge and familiarity with a variety of construction equipment and operating systems, such as hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of and experience with parts reference sources and materials such as manufacturer manuals, books, microfiche, internet, and the ability to effectively use such materials to ensure correct parts ordering.
