As a Partner Development Specialist for Bezos Academy, you will assist the partnership development team in identifying, vetting, and establishing school host partners for our growing national network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools. You will research and report on prospective markets for new school sites using data aggregation tools. You will build prospect lists for outreach, coordinate partnership communications and schedule meetings on behalf of the team, and you will enter, organize, and report on data within our CRM system.

You have excellent judgment, general research skills, and a solid understanding of either prospecting/lead generation or supporting client accounts. You love to learn, work quickly against deadlines, and demonstrate exceptional writing and communication skills. You are highly organized in all areas of your work, and you exhibit a strong personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
LOCATION

  • Flexible in the United States; Seattle, WA preferred
  • Relocation support is available for those willing to relocate to Seattle, WA.
  • COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS*
  • This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position.
  • The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $83,000 – $165,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location.
  • This role includes 15 paid days of vacation, 4 days of paid personal time off, 7 paid days of sick (care) time, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid days off for an organization-wide winter break, and additional time off if required by applicable law. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience, with at least two years of experience in a market, sales, fundraising, partnership-development, recruiting, or business-development role
  • Ability to effectively communicate (both oral and written) with a wide variety of audiences and at all levels of an organization
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks, manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong personal commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and experience working effectively across lines of difference
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to analyze and interpret basic data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience generating, nurturing, and managing leads/pipelines on a national scale
  • Experience with generating, managing, and monitoring pipelines within a CRM system (using both basic data entry and simple reporting tools)
  • Prior experience cultivating and managing relationships across lines of difference and for extended periods of time
  • Proven success in fast-paced, high-growth, dynamic work environment
  • Prior experience working in the nonprofit or education sector
