Summary

The Talent and Engagement Partner will be a trusted partner to our teams while ensuring the best-in-class people practices are implemented to support our organization. The Talent Partner will provide guidance and expertise to support the administration of LHHP’s people policies, practices, and programs. First point of contact in the day to day operations including answering employee questions, coaching and supporting our employees, talent acquisition, talent and performance management, and diversity, equity and inclusion. Every day will collaborate with employees and leaders to develop a culture of engagement and make LHHP a great place to work!

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Develops and executes the full life cycle of talent acquisition and recruitment activities including posting the open positions, maintaining ATS, sourcing, interviewing, coordinating offers and onboarding.
  • Develop new strategies and programs to attract top talent and build a talent pipeline such as building relationships with diverse recruitment sources, develop external networks and utilize creative methods to find diverse talent; research and attend recruiting events.
  • Partners with leaders to attract and hire internal and external candidates.
  • Conducts exit interviews, summarizes finds and discusses trends and concerns. Make recommendations based on these findings.
  • Assist with key strategic priorities that drive diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging for all, across the organization.
  • Contribute your subject matter expertise about development of employee engagement programs; provide perspective, insights, and original ideas
  • Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs and policies; prepares and presents on HR Metrics, as needed.

Performance Management & Employee Relations Coach

  • Provide advice and guidance to members of leadership regarding Human Resources concepts, policies and procedures, coaching, counseling, career development, and performance management.
  • Coach managers on how to improve and foster employee performance, as well as how to elevate their own leadership abilities as they coach their teams.
  • Develop and maintain positive coaching relationships with managers throughout the organization and provide guidance and support addressing employee development and employee corrective action matters.
  • Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues; conduct thorough, unbiased investigations into employee issues to include conflict resolution, harassment investigations, employee disputes, attendance issues and make recommendations for resolution based on those findings.
  • Champion efforts to develop and retain the best employees through building and iterating programs for performance management.
  • Partners with leaders to create and maintain a culture of inclusion where employees feel valued and empowered to do their best work.
  • Uphold strong knowledge and understanding of employment law to provide advice and guidance to manager in HR functional areas.

Change Agent

  • Recommend, design, promote, and participate in company-wide programs, projects and initiatives that maintain and enhance the employee experience, drive organizational and support LHHP’s evolving culture.
  • Partner with Human Resources Team to evaluate the effectiveness of existing Human Resources programs to ensure they continue to meet their designed purposes.
  • Recommend, design and implement programs that support LHHP’s evolving culture.
  • Monitors industry changes, identifies best practices and makes recommendations to enhance processes, procedures and programs.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Communications, or I/O Psychology.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification, preferred.
  • Current knowledge of applicable employment laws and regulations both federal and state law.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources with strong emphasis in recruiting and employee relations.
