Job Summary
Responsible for picking up trash in the parks on weekends and nights. The position will also be responsible for identifying and reporting issues with irrigation, playground equipment, drinking fountains, and other park amenities. Essential Duties
~ Pick up trash in the parks;

~ Check playground equipment, gates, drinking fountains and other park amenities for operation and report any issues;

~ Meet and greet park users and answer or direct them to the correct person if they have any questions;

~ Monitor tennis court instructor activity;

~ Position is considered "Essential Personnel" which requires being on duty to respond during emergency situations including but not limited to natural and/or man-made disasters. Education and Experience
Must possess CPR and AED certifications, or have the ability to obtain these certifications within forty-five days of employment start date. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Applicants must possess excellent verbal & written communications skills. Applicants must possess a solid working knowledge of office computer systems, including but not limited to MS Word and MS Excel. Applicants must be able to use computers Physical Requirements
Positions in this class typically require: climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.

Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of forces constantly to move objects.

While performing the duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee may be exposed to seasonal temperatures, the sun for extended periods of time, wet or humid conditions, blood borne pathogens, body fluids of others, and toxic & caustic chemicals. The noise levels in the work environment can be moderately loud on occasion.
