Part-Time Laundry Attendant/Housekeeper
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 20-30 pounds on a regular basis
- 24-30 hours a week.
- Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver’s license to drive the laundry van
- Must be reliable and have a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Excellent multi-tasking, communication, and time management skills
- Positive attitude, hardworking, friendly, self-starter
Responsibilities:
- Sort all linens and stain treat them when needed
- Operate washers and dryers properly as well as insuring that the correct cycles and chemicals are being used.
- Fold linens to inn standards and keep stock organized and available for use.
- Pack baskets of assorted towels, sheets, pillowcases, etc. and deliver them to the various inn buildings.
- Take regular inventory of all housekeeping linen closets and stock them accordingly based on need.
- Keep closets neat and organized, communicate regularly with housekeepers and housekeeping manager.
- Assist with stripping dirty linen from guest rooms and transporting down to the laundry facility.
- Assist with keeping common areas clean including lobby, parlors, public bathrooms, hallways, game room, and fitness center.
