Site-1 Taproom is looking for a skilled and passionate part-time line cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a part-time line cook, you will be responsible for executing our menu with precision and creativity, ensuring that each dish meets our high standards for quality and presentation. You will work closely with the Lead Chefs to uphold our brand and promote our values while contributing to a fun and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare all menu items with accuracy and consistency, following recipe guidelines and plating standards
• Assist with menu planning and recipe development, incorporating fresh and seasonal ingredients whenever possible
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any supply needs
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
• Support the kitchen team with prep work, cooking, and cleaning tasks as needed
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and culinary techniques, sharing your knowledge with the team and contributing to a culture of learning and growth
• Uphold our space-themed brand and values, engaging with guests and promoting our brewery's unique atmosphere
• Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions, contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
• Other duties as assigned by Lead Chefs or management team

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary school or professional cooking experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience as a line cook in a high-volume restaurant or brewery
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines, including ServSafe certification
• Strong knife skills and cooking techniques, with a focus on quality and consistency
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
• Passion for food and creativity, with a desire to contribute to a dynamic and innovative menu
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
