Job description
Schedule: Can be flexible: typical schedule begins 6 pm till 12am / 6 hours per day every other day/ (4 days per week)
Starting date May 1st until October 15th
Position Purpose:
Maintain hanging flower baskets throughout various cities
Nature and Scope of Responsibilities:
- Duties include driving an e350 Ford Box truck, filling truck with water via fire hydrants, then watering hanging baskets in various cities. These may include cities of Wilsonville, Tualatin, Tigard, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, Hillsboro, Gresham and Portland.
- May work alone or with an assistant
- Basket Ranger must maintain a clean and orderly truck and alert team coordinator of any repairs or maintenance needed of truck, safety lights or pumps.
- Must adhere to strict schedule of fertilization and pest control (added to water) Spraying of baskets with complete organic spray is also necessary every month.
- Must have an eye for detail throughout growing season of any sudden changes to various plants in the hanging baskets.
- Must always conduct themselves with professionalism and safety.
Qualifications:
- Must have a current valid drivers license
- Dependable work ethic
Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $17.50/hour.
