The Operations Training Manager is responsible for all departmental training and ongoing support within our Operations division. This manager is responsible for service performance of colleagues and their ability to deliver on Park Hyatt and overall Hyatt standards. The key to this role is consistent "on the spot" coaching with a primary focus on developing and executing a comprehensive, long-term training agenda for Operations. This position is not a Monday through Friday role and will be scheduled various hours based upon operational need to drive overall service. It is a very active position with the majority of its time spent on the floor coaching and training.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ongoing on the spot coaching of colleagues in service standards
• Pre-shifts and service related discussions
• Analyzing and communicating key service metrics in the department(s) and working with department managers to make adjustments/corrections based on guest satisfaction surveys
• Develop, evaluate and administer operational training programs for product knowledge, systems and service standards.
• Assess training effectiveness and conduct program evaluations

Salary Range:

Salary range for this position is $60,000 - $87,000 actual pay will commensurate with experience.

• Experience in stand-up training
• Refined written and verbal communication skills
• Good understanding of Hyatt's training standards and policies
• Strong leadership skills required
