Essential Functions:

  • Owns the lifecycle of information and traceability of product flow from PO to customer delivery
  • Evaluates, prioritizes, and implements project work plans to optimize customer satisfaction and company profitability
  • Establishes clear goals and objectives for project tasks and timelines based on the scope of work ensuring that team members have the necessary information and tools while providing timely feedback
  • Develops and maintains effective business relationships vital to project success
  • Proactively communicates project expectations, goals, status, issues, and risks to business partners and HMFG management
  • Tracks progress, assesses issues, and identifies solutions with manufacturing to meet deadlines while maintaining productivity, quality, and customer goals
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Leads customer report-outs and feedback sessions for continual improvement
  • Maintains consistent and accurate records throughout projects including final reviews of projects post-completion
  • Arranges training for products that align with customer goals
  • Develops best practices and tools for project execution and management
  • Conducts project “lessons learned capture” and creates recommendation(s) report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
  • Works safely at all times and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry
  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, and the analysis and reporting of financial data
  • Knowledge and use of PM software – MS Project, SMART Sheet, etc.
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills, deadline-oriented
  • Ability to operate as a strategic thinker with very strong quantitative and qualitative analytic abilities and creative problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to consult with engineering, support, management, and customers both internal and external to HOLT
  • Computer and related software knowledge and/or experience and the ability to learn/use new computer programs including MS Office products including MS Project
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with both internal and external customers
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle a complex workload
  • Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions

  • Ability to prepare reports, budgets, and maintain records
  • Ability to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of three years experience as s Project Manager in a manufacturing environment is required, five or more years preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Associates in Project Management preferred

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Travel:

  • Up to 5% of travel

  • This position involves extended periods in a stationary position, standing, and walking; additionally, occasionally kneeling, crouching, and stooping

  • Occasionally moves materials or equipment weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals, including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work
  • Ascend/descend with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climb up and down a ladder

Work Environment:

  • This job is generally performed in a professional office environment, in environmentally controlled conditions, and outdoor conditions on a site
  • Occasionally works outdoors and may be exposed to weather extremes conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity
  • Frequently works at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
