Bradford Industries seeks an Office Manager to join their team in Shelby, NC. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operation of the office/plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in plant scheduling.
  • Perform raw material procurement/MRP.
  • Maintain bills of materials.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis.
  • Administer the site IT/ ERP system.
  • Maintain bills of materials.
  • Assist the Site Manager with administrative tasks for the facility.
  • Perform order entry and billing/invoicing activity.
  • Resolve customer service & invoicing/billing issues.
  • Maintain contact with customers and suppliers regarding shipments/delays/expedite needs.
  • Work with the plant manager to ensure that all deliveries meet the assigned orders.
  • Report any back-ordered or missing products.
  • Assist in scheduling of orders with Site Manager.
  • Answer telephone calls and emails from customers and clients.
  • Set up and maintain customer accounts (new and existing.)
  • Recruit and communicate hiring needs with Human Resources department.
  • Extend offers and onboard new employees.

SCHEDULE: This is a full-time position working Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

COMPENSATION: Bradford Industries puts great value in the Office Manager position by offering a competitive wage starting at $45,000 annually based upon knowledge and experience.

BENEFITS: Bradford Industries offers an excellent benefits package after 90 days of employment including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid holidays and sick time, and eligibility for 401(k) after 6 months.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • 2+ years of experience in office management, required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of a manufacturing IT/ERP system required.
  • Ability to work productively and meet company standards for productivity, attendance, and safety.
  • Strong computer skills (proficient with Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, & Word.)
  • Must have basic math skills.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated.
