Occupational Therapist (OT) Job Responsibilities

• Must meet the needs and goals of the patient’s and provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results
• Determine the proper treatment plan in consultation with physicians or by prescriptions
• Assist patient develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities by implementing programs involving practice in functional, prevocational, and vocational skills
• Promote maximum independence by selecting and constructing therapies according to individual's physical capacity, intelligence level, and interest
• Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing and instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs

Occupational Therapist (OT) Requirements:

• Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university
• Current California state license
• Has reliable transportation, a current driver’s license, and auto liability insurance

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $100.00 - $145.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Self-determined schedule
• Weekend availability

License/Certification:

• Occupational Therapy License (Preferred)
